Dear Ms. Hoberman, About 7 years ago my sister introduced me to The Seven Silly Eaters and the book immediately became a favorite with our family. My children love the pictures by Ms. Frazee and have been delighted that someone could write so specifically about our family. About 3 years later we welcomed our youngest daughter into the world--which made 7 children--4 girls, 3 boys--one set of twin girls. Your book is the perfect match for our family and it has been a treat to read it for mystery reader in several of my children's classes as well as probably hundreds of times at home. Two days ago we made Mrs.Peter's Birthday cake for my youngest daughter's fourth birthday, and she enjoyed the "pink and plump and perfect" cake. Thank you for unknowingly immortalizing my sweet brood in print. Many Blessings!

Thank you for your lovely message! You never know when you write something and send it out to the world, what will happen to it - and sometimes it touches people in ways you could never imagine. Your case is particularly serendipitous! Best regards to your "sweet brood"! |

Seven Silly Eaters was my all time favorite children's book growing up and now that I'm going into Elementary Ed, I just did a project on it. =)

My children and I "accidentally" came across your book Seven Silly Eaters while randomly picking books for our summer reading program. That was two years ago and it is still one of our FAVORITE books. I am going to be a mystery reader for my daughter's first grade class and decided to read this book and wanted to find the recipe for mama's birthday cake. That search led me here!!! I just wanted to say what a delight Seven Silly Eaters is and I can't wait to surprise the classroom with the actual cake!!!!!
